Roundover & Beading Bits - Multiple Styles
• Roundover bits are CNC router bits that are specifically designed to create a rounded, or "bull-nose," edge on a workpiece. Unlike traditional router bits with a guide bearing, CNC-specific roundover bits are pointed and have no bearing. These bits are used to eliminate sharp corners, enhance safety, add a decorative touch, and improve the overall aesthetics of a project in materials like wood, plastics, and laminates
• Plunge roundover
Designed to create a decorative, flat-bottomed groove with a rounded profile along its edges. Unlike standard roundover bits, its unique end-cutting geometry allows it to be plunged directly into the center of a workpiece, rather than just trimming the perimeter. This makes it a versatile tool for both edge-shaping and inlay work.
- Profile: Features a step or shoulder inset into the rounded profile, giving it a more decorative "bead" or "nail head" look.
- Application: Adds a decorative accent, often used for cabinetry or trim work.
